SIT is not like usual brainstorming; it’s more structured and methodical. It forces you to think outside your fixedness and look at your problem from different perspectives. Applying SIT with a diverse team, following the structure and the rules, helps you find the opportunities that would have traditionally been dismissed.  It allows us to ask the right questions, and have more confidence in the ideas that come up. The method complements the other design tools we use for innovation.
